textured nails are one of the hot trends of 2013 – both on and off the
runway. We’ve asked Helena Biggs, deputy editor at Scratch magazine, to
show us 6 ways to wear the craze…
Feathered fingertips: Get attention flocking to your fingers with a fun, feathered mani. Ciaté offers everything you need to create the look in one handy kit for £20 – just apply nail colour, then a top coat. The velvet touch: Don’t let furry fingers freak you out! Velvet nails can be super stylish and really make a statement. Experiment with an assortment of colours across all 10 nails, or if you’re not quite feeling brave enough, create velvet feature nails or a fun take on the French mani with velvety nail tips. Whether you’re a golden girl or silver is your stud colour of choice, just ask your nail technician to embed them in a gel overlay for you or secure over polish with nail glue.
